My Process

Working with a freelance writer doesn’t have to be a scary process. Here’s what you can expect working with me:

Discovery

I start every professional relationship with a discovery call. During this call, I will ask about your brand, voice, products, services, UVPs, ideal customer profiles, audience segments, and project goals. We’ll also discuss the types of content you need and your expected timelines. If we’re a good fit for each other, we will move on to the next step, which will be setting up contact information and project management platforms, signing contacts, and finalizing background style guides and project scopes.

Research and Writing

The meat and potatoes of our partnership are in the research and writing stage. Once I receive content briefs, I will verify deadlines so we never miss crucial days. I do extensive research and never use AI to formulate ideas or write pieces. My human-first approach allows me to craft content that’s authentic and authoritative while adding curated personality.

Editing, Delivery, and Follow-Up

As an experienced communicator, I edit my writing constantly. The product you receive will require few, if any, edits and will be ready for CMS upload immediately. If you do request changes, I provide two rounds of edits to nail your ideal tone and voice for each piece.

The content I produce for your business is yours to keep. I turn over ownership of all documents to you as deliverables. I will also follow up with you to ensure you’re satisfied with my work!
